Blurb: When a newly engaged couple climbs Mount Ararat in Turkey, an avalanche forces them to seek shelter inside a massive cave uncovered by the snow fall. The cave is actually an ancient, buried ship that many quickly come to believe is really Noah’s Ark. When a team of scholars, archaeologists, and filmmakers make it inside the ark for the first time, they discover an elaborate coffin in its recesses. The artifact tempts their professional curiosity; so they break it open. Inside, they find an ugly, misshapen cadaver—not the holy man that they expected, a hideous creature with horns. A massive blizzard blows in, trapping them in that cave thousands of meters up the side of a remote mountain… but they are not alone.

Review: Newly engaged Meryam and Adam want one more grand adventure before getting married. An avalanche uncovers a hidden cave on Mount Ararat that may contain Noah's Ark. They fight to get there first and stake their claim, but even as they do, they don't realize what they've claimed. Inside the ruins of the ark is a mysterious coffin containing a strange cadaver. They hope this ugly creature can make them famous, but the thing has other plans.

This is the first book in the supernatural thriller series, Ben Walker. I was very intrigued by concept of finding what could be Noah's ark on Ararat and how that would stir up the scholars working on the mountain and the rest of the world. Yet there is a secret buried with the ship and it's completely evil. I enjoyed the beginning with all the drama between the people in the cave. You get multiple points of view. Isolation, close quarters, and creepy mysteries can lead minds to go to strange and dangerous places.

When the supernatural danger becomes more than a feeling of dread, it snowballs quickly, and the survivors have to try to get off the mountain in a blizzard with the evil chasing them all the way. That's where it feel apart for me. The survivors are racing down the mountain, and the demon is jumping from person to person. I wanted something more sneaky, something that was clever. I even guessed the twist.
