Blurb: Their voices guide us. Or deceive us. But is there more to Light and Dark? Influencers are the voices that whisper in our ears. Tiny Angels and Devils sitting on our shoulders and guiding our choices. They are sworn to thwart the other. At any cost.
But is it worth it?
Landon fully believes in his duty as a Dark Influencer. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to win the mortal’s soul—even seducing the beautiful Light Influencer, Antonia. Yet, he struggles to secure the mortal’s soul. As his feelings grow for her, Landon’s resolve begins to shake.
Is there more to influencing than blind obedience? It’s not Antonia or Landon who will pay the price for their mistakes. Review: Antonia was never like the other Light Influencers who want to be like the angels, and when she's sent down to influence her human, she wonders if the war between angels and demons is worth it. Landon is willing to do what needs to be done to win over the mortal to the Darkness, but when he meets Antonia, he doubts everything. Will they come together or will Dark forever war with Light?
I love the premise of the series about the angels and devils on people's shoulders and how they influence them. Both Antonia and Landon are trying to break from what they've always been told, but it's difficult to do it alone. Yet can they trust one another? They struggle with their attraction and what looms over them. They were sent to influence a teen boy who is struggling himself, and I loved seeing how all of it tangles together. A short read but packs powerful emotions.
Short read? I could use a short about now...
