Review: Countless galaxies, exciting adventures, and fated mates. This collection of sci-fi romance was a wonderful read. The book contains six novellas that take us from Earth across the universe and gives us love so powerful nothing can hold it back.

'Star-Crossed Love' has sweet Kira who is the last female of her race when her planet's sun collapsed. The only other living Gundrie is a male, Karsen, who is despicable, and he wants her for himself. Yet even though Kira makes a life for herself elsewhere and finds love, Karsen refuses to let go. I was on the edge of my seat with the tension, and the twist of the story is fantastic.

In 'Captive Heat,' Jaden rescues a beautiful teacher named Mia from sex slave traders, but they're pursued as they try to escape. They must work together to repair the ship, but as they do, Jaden goes into heat. His honor will not let him take her choice away in any matter, and he struggles with how little he feels he has to offer her. It's a sweet and steamy read.

'A Cup of Sin' features Sinclair who is a prisoner on a mining ship. All she wants to do is serve her sentence and return home with her sister. Edward is a guard, but when disaster strikes and the AI that controls everything turns on their people, he must work with the prisoners to survive. Sinclair and Edward yearn for one another, but both refuse to cross the line until they're cut off from the AI and all lines are erased as they fight for survival. Tense, thrilling, and hot!

In 'Starry Eyes,' Clarissa is devastated by a bad breakup and goes to another planet for a much needed girls' vacation. As if her ex refusing to leave her alone wasn't bad enough, horrible aliens called Xylokons attack with the intent of kidnapping the women. Quor and his warriors are dedicated to destroying the Xylokons who had decimated most of their race. Yet when Quor rescues Clarissa, his symbiote declares them fated mates and he goes into heat. There are lots of layers to this story and plenty of action. I love Clarissa's spunk, and while it infuriates Quor, so does he!

'Matched to the Alien Workaholic' is as fun as it sounds. Zenhan spends too much time working, and his brother arranges a trip for him to relax. Except Zenhan doesn't know it's a matchmaking trip, and Julie is hurt when he's angry upon that discovery. It's no ordinary getaway though. They're stuck in a one bedroom cabin on a wild planet with deadly beasts they're expected to hunt for food. I really like that Julie is the hunter and Zenhan is happy to be the cook.

Finally we have 'The Starlight Prince' which is a mixture of sci-fi and paranormal romance. Madelyne is a witch, and the witch hunters are getting closer to finding her. Kalas is a prince in a faraway galaxy, and when his god declares the two of them fated mates, he will stop at nothing to make her his. The balance between the sci-fi and magic is very well done, and the tension between them is sizzling.
